Basic Home Security System

1) Entry limiters – this part of the internal security system limits the people who have access to your house. An indication device may be as simple as a padlock or it can be as complex as a biometric identification system. The purpose of this part of the internal security system to let you pre-people who have access to your house to settle.

Entry limiters are the most fundamental part of the internal security system. Some of the forms of entry limiters available today:

A) Locks – this, of course, refers to deadlocks and padlocks which a person must use a key to access. This is probably the easiest and cheapest way to access a particular location to a minimum.

B) electronic magnetic scanners – this type of entry limiter uses an electronic device to lock the door. Access can be obtained by sweeping or scanning the magnetic strip of an identification card. Electronic magnetic strip scanners are often used in offices and business establishments.

C) Biometric scanners – there are three common types of biometric scanners in use today: voice identification, fingerprint scanning and retinal scanning. What is common about all these devices is the fact that everything they verify a person’s identity based on unique identifiers. A person’s voice, fingerprint, and retina are unique and can not be copied. Thus, the internal security system to identify whether a person is not allowed to open a particular area.

2) Alarms – they informed the owners or the authorities if anyone has tried to access their homes without proper authorization. Some alarms are motion sensitive and send signals in case a person does them. Others are directly connected to sensors that are sensitive to movement or sound.
